Jim O’Rourke is an American musician, producer, and composer known for his eclectic and experimental approach. Born in 1969, he emerged from the Chicago experimental music scene, producing a diverse body of work that spans electronic music, avant-garde composition, pop, and post-rock. He’s collaborated with numerous artists, including Sonic Youth and Wilco, and has produced albums for a wide range of musicians. Currently based in Tokyo, O’Rourke continues to explore and redefine musical boundaries.
