For well over a decade now, Tapage has been recording and performing a wide variety of experimental electronic music. In his recent work he focusses on the expressive qualities of chaotic sonic behaviors. This fascination has inspired him to develop his own unique tools and instruments through coding, hacking and circuit design. Tapage has been a prolific producer of electronic music, releasing records on various labels including Tympanik Audio, Lomechanik and Adnoiseam.

His long involvement at STEIM has led him to develop a series of live electronic performances which has been presented on numerous stages across Europe. Currently he lives in Norway, working as an PhD Candidate in Artistic Research to deepen his knowledge and skills in instrument design, composition and performance.
