After several CD-R releases on several labels and self-released Dutch drone musician Orphax presents his first pressed CD “De Tragedie van een Liedjesschrijver Zonder Woorden” (The Tragedy of a Songwriter With Out Words) on Moving Furniture Records in October.
De Tragedie van een Liedjesschrijver Zonder Woorden is an album written in a period where Orphax (Sietse van Erve) went through a lot of changes in his life, both good and bad. Inspired during this period he made several compositions about love, stress (due to finishing a Masters study in geology), struggling with sickness and eventually finding peace of mind. Some of these things have gone and changed, but others are still valid in his current situation. This makes it still a relevant piece in his life and career as musician.
The album will contain six wordless, minimal drone songs.
